WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF LASER TREATMENT ON FACE ?
Redness or Irritation – but theses are temporary and depends on the type of laser used. Hyperpigmentation– It is advised to avoid sunlight for about one week after treatment. Doctor may advise some topical ointments in some cases to avoid post- inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (PIH).
There are no major side effects.
HOW MANY SITTINGS ARE REQUIRED ?
Number of Laser sittings depends upon number of factors as person’s Age, type of Skin and Severity of skin problem.
Usually we advise 2-3 sittings at a gap of 4-6 weeks between sittings.
HOW LONG THE RESULT WILL LAST ?
Usually 2-3 treatments are done and the results last for 3-5 years.
WHAT IS THE SKIN CARE REGIME AFTER THE LASER TREATMENT ?
Use a Sunscreen with SPF 30 or above, two times a day, at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Wash your face with a mild cleanser as Cetaphil. Apply an ointment at night time as prescribed by doctor.
Follow this regime for 3 months for best result.
