IS IT PERMANENT?
Yes. It removes hair in stages but the reduction achieved is permanent. However, if there is an underlying cause like altered hormonal levels, which is not corrected, the hair could be visible again. In fact this is one of the reasons why it is always advisable to have a qualified cosmetic surgeon to supervise your treatment.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED ?
Usually, it requires 8 session for facial hair and 4-6 session for body hair . But the results may vary person to person, depends upon skin type, type of hair & hormonal balance. There are many girls effected with PCOD & facial hair
CAN I THREAD, WAX OR BLEACH PRIOR TO LASER ?
NO, hair should not be threaded, waxed or bleached prior to laser hair removal. The laser targets the hair root. Threading and waxing leads to removal of the root thus rendering laser ineffective. Since bleaching removes the colour (melanin) of the hair, it takes away the target melanin, even though the hair is firmly rooted.
IS THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS ?
There are no serious side effects of lasers. There can be mild burning sensation or redness only for few hours.
